I had to find a better cost effective way of feeding early weaned calves, herd sires that have to be brougt back up to speed for the coming season and my horse weaning and yearling preparation for marketing.I had been watching the progress of Fodder Solutions for the last 5 years. I was in a real corner.  My cows were slipping by the day and once again I had to pull calves off at 3 months old and nothing to put them on pasture wise.  We have always used pellets and other manufactured feeds but the turn around in the calves after being on the sprouts for three weeks was truly amazing.  The calves after a month were looking better than they were when first pulled off of their mum,s.  We are right in the middle of foaling all our mares also.  Other years I have had to feed prime lucerne to prevent constipation in the newborn foals and to boost nutrient in the lactating mares.  Putting them onto a small amount of fodder turned this into a tenth of the cost. 

I can't thank Fodder Solutions enough for this great product.  Terry and Flavio (the owners of Fodder Solutions) have been there 100% to give after sales service.  Its great to buy a product that has had  enough important research done on it eg combating mould, drainage, and maintenance so as it works effectively and efficiently.  The after sales service was a real asset to us as everything was new to us.  There is absolutely no doubt that this product has made my operation a more viable one out here in the west.  It's like ordering your rain.  We once felt guilty feeding our riding horses because of the cost, but now at around 70 cents per day cost in fodder plus roughage which we normally have I can feed to my hearts content.  It's just like a flowing bore only its green feed not water.
